Remo Faieta, Ph.D., came to the US from Abruzzo, Italy in 1963. He has taught foreign languages in colleges and has been conducting Italian tours since 1978.
Remo knows Italy like his own backyard, and of course speaks Italian fluently! He has detailed maps, phone books and tons of literature about Italy. He has helped a very large number of Italian-Americans go to the town of their family roots and meet their relatives for the first time.
Remo says: “Organizing and conducting these tours is not a job for me. It is my passion!”
People who went on his tours say: “You made my dream come true!”
Remo invites you too to have your dream come true.
What types of Italian Tours do we take?
Italian Heritage Tours
“Heritage” means something very special handed down from generation to generation. Italy’s heritage is unique: just think of the Roman Empire, the cradle of Renaissance, the greatest artists and their masterpieces, famous poets, saints, spectacular beaches, mountains, delicious food, etc.
If you are of Italian descent you have a special reason for visiting Italy, because it is the land where your forefathers lived. Discovering your family’s little town, seeing their humble house, perhaps meeting your relatives from the old country for the first time…what a sentimental thrill!
With these Italian Heritage Tours thousands of Italian-Americans have made their dreams come true. If you too are dreaming of visiting the land of your forefathers, contact us to plan your memorable trip.
Summer Tours of Italy
We think the best time to visit Italy is in Spring and Fall, but teachers, students, parents and many others can go only in summer.
For those wishing to visit Italy during the summer months, we fashion special tours every year. You will see the Alps, lakes, Venice, Florence, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, Capri, the Tuscan country side, the spectacular Adriatic Coast, famous sandy beaches and the immortal city of Rome.
Do you like fresh figs picked straight from fig trees? Do you like grapes, watermelons and gelatos? And what about eating in outside country restaurants and dancing at the sound of accordion? Ah, that is a real vacation! Yes, in summer there is a lot of fun in Bella Italia! Come and join us, you will love it!
Customized Italian Tours
Every year, millions of people from all over the world visit Venice, Florence, Rome, Vatican City, Capri, Pompeii, Pisa, Milan, Ravenna, Rimini, Loreto, Taormina, Agrigento, the Alps, and more.
There is so much to see and do, how do you start to plan a trip on your own? No need. Let us to the planning for you, and enjoy the trip without worrying about missing a thing.
For “Customized Tours” we don’t have already existing planned programs. Once you tell us when and where you want to go, we will plan a program to fit your wishes.
You will have the best of both worlds: the ability to determine your own itinerary and the ability to enjoy your tour with a group of your own choosing.
